hela Sverige Reporting to the Manager of Service Configuration team; the IP Configuration Manager will work as part of Telia Carrier Service Delivery & Network Procurement department, being the implementer of Telia Carrier Sold Services with high quality and in timely manner. Moreover, you will actively work with other units within the Service Delivery department, our customers, and sub-contractors when it comes to testing and bringing services into service. You are responsible for configuration of Telia Carrier services and you will use existing guidelines and standards, which are already in place, to support you during your daily tasks. There is also a need to use internal support and inventory systems, which you must keep up to date. You will also be involved when it comes to setting process and system improvements; and you will always be encouraged to make recommendations as you see fit.
DAY TO DAY TASKS:
• Prepare, create, verify all IP Router and Switch configurations as well as L3CPE and NID configurations according to configuration templates for Telia Carrier services within standard lead times.
• Prepare, create, verify IP Router and Switch configurations according to instructions from technical support staff for Telia Carrier non-standard services
• Document and update all required support systems with high quality
• Set up of customer traffic measurements
• Support customers, field engineers, and sub-contractors with patching and bring-into-service testing
• Perform migrations, testing, and activations of services in cooperation with customers if required also outside normal working hours
• Perform Ready for Service test and store test results
• Prepare configuration for router and switch migrations
• Provide expert competence to customers and other internal parties as required
• Send documentation according to Telia Carrier Delivery process to customer when required
• Actively involve in making process, and system improvements; and make recommendations
• Customer / internal meetings (physical, video or phone): be able to run a structured meeting and provide clear feedback.
SPECIFIC AREAS OF EXPERTISE:
• Must have previous experience of working as IP Network Engineer within a telecommunications company
• Passion for client satisfaction and customer service
• Ability to work as multitasked
• Ability to work on administrative and repetitive work environment
• Strong and current awareness of current technologies and best practice
• Ability to work across borders and boundaries (cross-cultural awareness)
• Comfortable to work unsupervised

• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
EXPERIENCE:
• A minimum of two (2) years plus experience as IP network engineer within the telecommunications' industry
• Essential to have very good understanding and practical experience in configuration and troubleshooting of the following technologies: IPv4/IPv6, BGP, Carrier Ethernet, MPLS and L3 VPN, IPSec, HSRP / VSRP, DWDM, VoIP, IPX, optical networking, Fiber
• Advanced IP router configuration experience in CISCO IOS XR, Juniper JUNOS and ALCATEL SR OS
• Experience in Network inventory and workflow systems (INCA, SalesForce.com, Arbor Peakflow)
• CCNP/JNCIS certification or higher
EDUCATION:
• Post-secondary education/university degree is desirable
• MEF 2.0 Metro Ethernet Forum Certification would be advantageous but not essential
