The IOT (InterOperability Test) department is now looking for a skilled engineer with focus on verification of GSM, WCDMA and LTE systems. As a member of the team you will be involved in
on- sight testing in costumers lab and verification on the road around the world. You will also be involved in developing new test strategies and design test instructions, test cases etc.
The position gives the possibility to work cross site with the Test engineers in Japan, China, US and Hong Kong. You will also work together with other teams outside IOT; e.g. Type Approval, ITP and Design teams as WAS CAS GAS and PHY.
The IOT department of consists of 40 people spread out over sites in Lund, Seattle, Hong-Kong, Tokyo and Beijing, which are working tightly together.
Test Engineer working with verifying interoperability between platforms for cellular phones and networks an essential part is to create qualitative reports from test verification sessions.
Formal Education Needed
Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication Systems Engineering
Requested qualification
Experience in GSM, WCDMA, HSPA technology and knowledge in LTE systems.
Minimum three years of experience in the field of telecommunications, specifically work related to the air interface in GSM, WCDMA, HSPA and/or LTE. Examples of previous work are with designing/testing/integrating RNCs or testing mobile platforms
Knowledge of protocols within the above mentioned technologies, such as RRC, RLC, MAC/MAC-hs, MM etc.
Excellent English skills, both verbally and in writing
Good social and networking skills to support teamwork in project groups as well as ability to work independently
Good communication and documentation skills
You should enjoy working in an international environment

Drivers license
Possibility to travel regularly
International experience, either from living or working abroad
