We at Toyota are looking for a software application tester for our fleet management system that is being developed by our R&D function, where we actualize industrial IoT in connected vehicles. With us you get to work with the latest technology in close contact with the end product and our customers.
As a Software Application Tester at Toyota you will:
* Work on systematic testing of our fleet management system, primarily manual testing.
* Participate in the requirements process to ensure testability.
* Develop our test suites as the product grows.
* Be an important part of the quality assurance of our fleet management system.
As a software application tester at Toyota, you will be part of a test team that focuses on software testing. You will work closely with the development teams for the fleet management system in an agile setup, where you as a tester have a key role to ensure quality.
The end product is a fleet management system for trucks, which is an application with a web-based interface. In addition to desktop, there are also mobile apps. Behind the application is a MongoDB database and cloud services that allow us to communicate with our connected trucks.
The product has been developed within Toyota since 2008 and is now approaching generation 4. Today, there are almost 200,000 connected trucks in 70 countries, which places high demands on performance, scalability and availability. Maintaining the quality of the system and ensuring 24/7 availability is of the utmost importance.
Connectivity is one of Toyota's rapidly growing focus areas. You will work in an organization that is responsible for the entire chain from sensor in truck to customer's UX on the web. The work is team-based and you work in sprints. International contacts are also an important part of your work in our development department.

For the position as software application tester, we are looking for you who have/are:
* University engineer or vocational education in a relevant area
* Accurate and systematic
* Experience of testing software in the application area
* Good knowledge of English in speech and writing
* Certification in tests, e.g. ISTQB, is an advantage
* Knowledge of databases is an advantage
