With strategic capabilities, as e.g. SMA, Wire-bonding, Analysis lab, 3D printing/scanning, CNC machines, and Test chambers, Prototyping Sweden provides a One Stop Shop to enable innovation and Technology leadership for Ericsson.
Prototyping Sweden is also driving the Advanced Engineering Program, coordinating research and pre-development of future production and test technologies by utilizing total Prototyping Sweden capabilities.
Job Summary:
We are recruiting for the position as IoT Engineer within the Engineering section at PDU Radio Prototyping. In this position, you will report to the head of Engineering.
You will contribute to the develop Ericsson's smart manufacturing program.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
Development of IoT device in order to get the smart manufacturing market going on cellular technology.
The scope is to support the IWO program as for the following main areas with the relevant bullet activities:
• Asset condition monitoring
Support the development of the asset conditioning monitoring by providing device HW for the prototyping
• Testbed
Develop device HW for the smart manufacturing testbed in order to be able to test E2E use cases.
Create requirements from a device perspective on the Industrial wireless offering components
Secure any IPRs for Ericsson that might be created during the testbed development.
• Consulting
Support Ericsson supply with smart manufacturing solutions.
Support Ericsson's partners within smart manufacturing to go from devices with wired technologies to cellular or from any other radio technology to wireless.

Qualifications, required:
• IoT device development skills
• Extensive technology understanding and knowledge

Qualifications, desired:
