Our mission
Diet Doctor was founded by Andreas Eenfeldt (M.D.) in 2007, with the long-term goal of empowering people everywhere to dramatically improve their health. More than one billion people suffer from health issues related to type 2 diabetes and obesity, for which they're often personally blamed and rarely given the support they deserve. We aim to change that.
We're fully funded by our members, so we don't need to show any ads, sell any products, or take any industry money. This also means that we have zero external investors, and are instead owned by the 30+ people who actually work here - and we offer all employees the possibility to buy a stake in the company regularly.

What you'll do
We are soon to release an iOS app with a subscription service to millions of users where they can browse more than 700 free and delicious low-carb and keto recipes and create customizable meal plans. You will partner with product managers, designers, and other developers to build and maintain the user-interface for a product that truly matters.
Build other new inspiring apps that aim to make it simpler for people to get rid of diseases.
The company grows rapidly and with that comes new technical challenges. You will play a key role in helping us shape the future of our tech stack. We always try to improve our development and release processes, and we want you to be part of this and share your insights.

Who you are
You have a passion for crafting beautiful and user-friendly mobile apps, with a sharp eye for quality and detail.
You have previously shipped apps to the AppStore and know how to run apps in production.
Experience working from prototypes such as those created with inVision.
Solid understanding of user-experience best practices.
Deep knowledge and experience with React Native, and preferably also Swift in XCode, and use of package management tools such as Cocoapods and Carthage and other third party tools.
Comfortable with open communication and an empathatic feedback culture.
