Telia Ventures is the venture capital arm of Telia Company, with the mandate to look for investments into companies that are strategically important for Telia globally. We are looking to grow our investment team with people who love learning about the whole spectrum of tech companies, from start-ups to market leaders and identifying the key patterns of successful companies.

As an Investment Professional, you are empowered to learn everything there is to know about the companies, teams, products and business models from early stage start-ups to market leaders.
You will have the opportunity to impact the entire spectrum of our investment process, including:
Investment thesis development
Deal sourcing
Due diligence and market research
Financial modelling
Portfolio company support
WHO ARE YOU?
You love products: You are quick to learn more about the ones that offer something special to consumers, or you understand how new cloud, mobile and data technologies are transforming all industries.
You love research: if you are curious to learn more, this role will fit you well. You are self-motivated to find creative and structured methods to uncovering insights that will drive our investment decisions.
Your personality:
Analytical: You will research companies and markets in a wide range of industries, requiring the ability to understand market drivers and business models.
Collaborative: As an Investment Professional, you will have daily interactions with other team members, our portfolio companies, potential target companies, and Telia business units.
Entrepreneurial: Similar to our portfolio companies, Telia Ventures is a venture and requires team members who are builders and like to work hands-on.
Service oriented: Venture capital is fundamentally a service business and we exist to serve and support our portfolio companies.
Your experience:
You probably have 1-3 years of relevant professional experience from some of the following roles:
Base level of professional experience in an analyst role from consulting or investment banking
Exposure to developing investment thesis and making investments in firms such as private equity or venture capital
Experience in fast growing start-ups working with product management, product marketing or data science
Corporate development team of a large enterprise.
Furthermore, you have an academic background, preferably a master's degree, from a business school or a technical university. International experience and accomplishments outside of study or work is beneficial.
The position is based in Solna, Sweden.
