Job Description
The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) is an agency under the Ministry of International Trade & Industry. MIDA is the Malaysian Governments principal agency that promotes, develops and coordinate investments in manufacturing and selected services sectors in Malaysia.
MIDA Stockholm is looking for a suitable Investment Officer who will be able to assist with:
1. Implementing investment promotion programmes in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway and Iceland;
2. Organizing meetings with companies, potential investors, Chamber/Associations;
3. Investment research and analysis of targeted sectors/prospects in the countries of coverage ;
4. Building and maintaining database of contacts;
5. Preparation of reports and provide inputs related to economic and political developments in the countries of coverage; and
6. Dissemination of information to stakeholders
Salary: SEK 25,401 (before tax)
Minimum Qualification:
1. Atleast Degree holder majoring in business related fields
2. Minimum 3 years' experience in research/promotional activities
3. Fluent in English and Swedish (both written and spoken)
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office
5. Self-motivated and able to work independently
6. Willing to travel and work after office hours (when required)
