hela Sverige The investment / general expense buyer is part of the Purchasing organization and reports to the purchasing director of Mjällby.
Requirement profile:
• Bachelor degree in mechanics or economics
• Minimum 4 years experience from purchasing (strategy, negotiations, contracts, etc), preferably from the automotive sector.
• Experience from machinery and production equipment contracting
• Swedish and English language at professional level in speech and writing
Main responsibilities:
• Manage and develop the supplier panel for investment & general expenses
• Build and execute the strategy for investment/general expense supplier panels
• Negotiate and settle contracts with above mentioned suppliers (some contracts to be coordinated with finance such as electricity/gas/IT)
• Identify and coordinate cost saving projects in investment and general expense area.
• Coordination with our Linköping division and if applicable with Jamestown/US division
• Make sure to follow ISO/TS standards and internal TiSiX roadmaps for the supplier panels
• Purchase of tooling, etc in projects where we should produce in-house.
• Negotiations, contracts, etc for transports, production machinery, maintenance, tooling, assembly lines, etc. Investments in the plant/buildings.
