Arbetsuppgifter
As Inventory Planner, you will be part of a team which are responsible for machine safety products and its related suppliers. You will be involved in the entire purchasing process - from offering to ordering and monitoring deliveries - where your responsibility will be to ensure supply of products to our warehouse. Our Client have a broad range of innovative products; electronic devices, cables and cabling, aluminium profiles and fittings. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to get a holistic perspective. Furthermore, you will be involved in sales and business development, where your input on which products to phase in and out will be key to our success. Your main external interfaces will be with Key stakeholders. Internally you will work closely with people in many different roles, as we work in cross-functional teams with the aim to have short time to warehouse as well as the customer.
Some of your tasks will be to:
• Plan and execute suborders from set agreements
• Follow-up on inventory levels and analysis of incoming inventory parameters
• Confirm deliveries in SAP/R3
• Secure a high service level towards customers
• Have daily contacts with suppliers
• Update suppliers on our supply chain routines to ensure they meet service level agreements
• Prognose and improve the supply chain together with the Strategic Purchasing and Quality departments
• Provide input to agreements and supplier assessment
Utbildning/erfarenhet
You are driven with a customer focused mind set - and you always seek to develop the business and increase customer satisfaction. A good sense of planning and the ability to have a holistic perspective is needed for you to be successful. Since we work in a cross-functional environment, flexibility, collaboration and good communication skills are essential to reach common goals.
You have a few years of experience from roles where you have had customer contact, preferably within purchasing or logistics. You have a university degree or vocational training in an appropriate area. We consider it a merit if you have previous experience of logistics development or inventory planning. Skills in SAP, Excel and the Office package is also an advantage. Fluency in Swedish and English is a requirement, written and spoken alike.
