We are now looking for a Product Development Leader that shall work as Product Introduction Manager in Product Development Unit Cloud RAN.
Product Development Unit (PDU) Cloud RAN within Development Unit Networks (DNEW) will ensure Ericsson's readiness in virtualization of radio access network (RAN) solutions and complement our embedded RAN portfolio in order to serve our customers when deploying 5G.
PDU Cloud RAN is building full-stack virtualization of the 5G NR CU (Central Unit) and DU (Distributed Unit) based on COTS HW and cloud-native technologies. In this newly formed unit, we embrace a start-up mentality to deliver a product with the great customer experience and increased organizational efficiency making creative and out-of-the-box employees an excellent fit.
In the Cloud RAN Reference System and Deployment team, we are growing, looking for skilled persons with various experiences in Cloud Native products. We are searching for people who are eager to join us on our journey to build something truly exciting! We offer an environment where You will be part of a team bringing the solutions, from systemization to product introduction and release, taking an end-to-end product responsibility.
You are an upbeat individual with experience in introducing new solutions into our customers' networks and driving POCs, demos, and other pre-sales activities. You are eager to engage with our Customers, Solution Introduction and deployment!
What will you do
Be the main Customer point of contact representing PDU during product introduction phase
Plan Cloud RAN releases, features, solution implementation, and deployment in customer networks.
Develop and support a strategy to improve customer acceptance and commercial deployment; efficiently reach Cust-GA lead time targets.
Identify and drive improvements towards design organizations based on the findings from customer and standard methodologies.
Actively support Customer Units (CU) identify and secure solutions to customer network issues during field verification and deployme
You will bring
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field such as engineering or computer science
Minimum of 3 years proven experience in project management within product development/verification
Experience in 4G5G SW/HW or Cloud products development and support flows.
Proven Record in driving deep technical Issues in RAN OR Cloud Native.
Understanding of the concepts of Lean and Agile ways of working
Well-structured with an ability to communicate and collaborate on various levels within and outside Ericsson
Transparency, listening skills and ability to empower and encourage people
Initiate and embrace innovation and change with a collaborative approach
Cultural awareness and experience of working in multi-site organizations or projects
