The IOT (InterOperability Test) department is now looking for an IOT Operator interface and coordinator. In this role you will have the opportunity to interact closely with some of the major operators around the world. It is essential that you have a solid understanding and knowledge in the area of network signalling (GSM, WCDMA and/or LTE), but even more important is you ability to handle and interact with people from different cultures and countries. Your two main responsibilities will be to drive our platform through operator acceptances and to act as a technical interface towards the operators.
The IOT department consists of 50 people spread out over sites in Lund, Seattle, Hong-Kong, Tokyo and Beijing with daily interaction. The position gives you the possibility to work cross site together with the test engineers in Japan, China, US, Hong Kong, Sweden etc. You will also work together with other teams outside IOT; e.g. Type Approval and various Software Design teams.
Competence:
M. Sc. or B. Sc. degree in a relevant field
A minimum of 5 years work experience within the telecom industry
Good understanding of telecommunication systems and Network Signaling protocols in particular.
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Excellent English skills, both verbal and in writing
High ability to work independently, take initiative and drive own work
Good social and networking skills to support teamwork in project
Well organized, structured and curious
You should enjoy working in a high paced international environment
Driver's license
Possibility to travel regularly
