We currently have the following job opening;
Student Internship - Connected Car Technical Requirement Translation Support
The Connected Car organization is starting product development together between our colleagues in China and Sweden. In order to speed up our collaboration, we are in need of technically trained individuals who are fluent in both Mandarin and English to help us clarify requirements for our system developers. We would very much like to bring in students who bring both communication and technical knowledge to the assignment, and have potential to learn and grow in our organization!
We are looking for several individuals to support us part-time in our office in Lindholmen. Minimum required working hours per week should be around 10 hours (exceptions for exam periods and holidays). Work hours are flexible, but should be between our core office hours of 8.00 - 17.00.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Work in our requirement systems to translate requirements from Mandarin to English and vice versa
- Support customer and/or internal meetings for translation as required
- Communicate between teams in China and Sweden to ensure understanding
- Support connected car technical system requirement process
Profile and Background
- Student in relevant engineering field (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, etc)
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English, written and spoken
- Flexibility and ability to work with minimal management
- Confidence to contact people you have never met to reach understanding and resolution
