SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER - Stockholm
We are recruiting on behalf of a Translations.com a company in the Transperfect group of companies who provide global business services in over 100 languages. Transperfect is headquartered in New York and with offices in over 70 cities on 5 continents it is today the world?s largest privately held provider of language and business services. Transperfect provide a full range of language and business services, including professional translation, interpretation, website translation, subtitling, voice-overs, multicultural marketing, diversity and inclusion consulting, and litigation support to multinational companies.
Following their successful expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Senior Program Manager to join their Client Services team in the Old Town in Stockholm.
JOB OVERVIEW
The Program Manager has the global ownership for the successful service delivery and profitability of one of the company?s most significant accounts. The emphasis for the first year will be on rolling out the technology and service delivery processes for a large number of international locations - internally and externally, where after the successful development and management of the account and the service delivery will the main task.
Responsibilities
• Setting up and on-boarding all the processes both internally and externally between the client and the account and service delivery team
• Rolling out the technology with the client and the internal units
• Take ownership for the overall service delivery
• Setting up manage quarterly performance reviews with the client
• Take ownership for the total service delivery for the client
• Supervising team (account managers, solutions engineer and other production staff)
• Work closely with the Account Director in the development of the account.
• Grow client relationships by attending sales meetings, participating in sales calls and preparing proposals and estimates and developing service and technology leads
REQUIREMENTS
• 10 years experience in localization account and project management (desired)
• experience in working with localization technology and work flow management
• familiarity with web technologies, desktop publishing software, database and network environments, translation memory tools, etc
• excellent project management competence
• outstanding communications skills
• university degree (or similar competence)
• superior written and spoken communication skills in Swedish (native level) and English
• willingness to travel frequently (mainly within Europe)
The ideal candidate for this position will be equipped with a can-do attitude, leadership skills, an entrepreneurial streak and international mind.
