About the traineeship.

Your role as a Trainee - Staff Support & Business Development
You will be a part of the Maintenance Department's management team, which otherwise consists of unit managers for 6 different units, as well as 3 staff members and 1 administrative support. The management team's task is to provide conditions and direction for Ringhals' maintenance operations.
The job involves working with unit managers and staff members to identify and drive improvement initiatives for maintenance work processes and organization. Examples of imporovement initiatives is to develope the supplychain of indirect material to the maintenance process, this includes understanding of the process and it 's bottlenecks, defining improvement initiatives and support in executing them. After the trainee year, the placement will be changed to a suitable engineering or first-line management role.
Qualifications
Your qualifications as a Trainee - Staff Support & Business Development
To succeed in this position, we are looking for individuals who possess both professional and personal skills to thrive in a dynamic, global environment.
Below are the key qualifications we seek:
Master of Science in Industrial Engineering or equivalent degree, preferably completed with an MBA.
Interest in leadership/collaboration and continuous improvement
Fluent in Swedish and English

Having a drive to achieve set goals and deliveries
Good relationship builder with a strategic focus
Great organizational skills

To be considered for our traineeship, we are looking for candidates who should:
Be a recent graduate with an academic degree or expected graduation before September 2025.
Have maximum one year of work experience after completing your most recent degree. Interns and student jobs will not be considered.
Be willing to travel regularly and relocate for short rotations within our organization.
Identify with our values: active, open, positive and safety.
Have a strong desire for long-term commitment to contribute to Vattenfall's vision, making a lasting impact on the future of energy.

Location
You will be located in Ringhals nuclear power plant, Varberg, Sweden.
