Componenta Främmestad makes machined, surface treated and pre-assembled components for heavy truck and off-road
industry based on castings delivered from internal and external foundries through JIT-deliveries. Främmestad employes appr. 150 people.
International Trainee Program
Engineering trainee in Sweden, Främmestad
International Trainee Program lasts two summers. During the first summer traineeship in your home country, a final thesis during winter and then an international internship during the second summer in another Componenta country.
The trainee will be part of the product development team and will participate in engineering projects. Training period includes various tasks in product development, cost calculation and New Part Introduction projects. CAD and CAE tools including casting simulations will be used.
To be successful in a trainee position, you are in the middle of your studies.
As our trainee, you are open-minded team player, eager to learn and can make things happen. You should have
• Master level studies in engineering or metallurgy
• Project Management studies are an advantage
• Fluent English
We offer you a possibility to prove your competence during two summers with an international internship for the second summer. As our trainee, your summers will be filled with excitement, challenges and fun. During the traineeship you will be mentored by our specialist product development team members.
