The company has further specialised itself in several niche areas including track and railway techniques, within which Abetong plans and delivers technical services and production equipment for the manufacture of concrete sleepers. Today the Abetong sleepers are manufactured on a license basis in 36 factories around the world.
In order to play a more powerful role on the international market we are now looking for an
International Technical Sales Developer
As International Technical Sales Developer in Abetong AB, and based in Växjö, your main area of responsibility will be the company’s sales to new customers of our expertise within railway techniques.
The focus of the post will be to analyse and prioritise markets, projects and trends and also to select and cultivate potential clients.
Your tangible work duties include, among other things, defining general demands on the market, clients' needs and expectations as well as visiting clients, drawing up tenders in accordance with the wishes of the client and to conduct negotiations.
The position involves approx 100 – 140 days travelling annually.
We are looking for you who have:
Relevant college/university education
Solid background within technical international sales
Good negotiation skills and experience of business agreements
Complete fluency in spoken and written English and possessing the following qualities:
Good strategic ability with a strong commercial drive
Business acumen where competent solutions are created and finalised
Goal-orientated, determined and proactive with ability to create results
Communicative
Non-prestigious and pragmatic
The ability to create confidence with clients
Furthermore you possess high ambition and energy levels and place high demands on yourself and your results within the organisation. You are secure in your role and accustomed to organising your own work and are innovative and competent in building and maintaining trustworthy relations in different cultures. Clarity and decisiveness are important to display when necessary but it is also important not to be inflexible with your own perceptions but rather exercise diplomatic skills.
We assume you are computer literate with knowledge of Office programmes.
