Inoventa creates, produces and manages pan-European business conferences covering business-to-business strategic topics specific to a particular industry, a new trend or technology, for senior level executives and decision-makers. Through our events, Inoventa brings together industry leaders from forward-thinking orgainsations in the international business community to share information. Our events help delegates learn, benchmark and network for better decision and strategy making. For sponsors and exhibitors, our events help them establish contacts and increase exposure.

We are now looking for a high caliber person to join our international sales team. The main function for this position will be to develop sales plan for our acquisition of sponsors and delegate, to execute the actual selling tasks required, as well as to execute marketing support. The tasks will include:

• Setting sales targets and defining sales processes
• Business development by acquiring corporate sponsors/exhibitors and delegates for our events
• Maximising the number of delegates participating in our events in a short lead time
• Negotiating Contracts with sponsors/exhibitors in a short lead time
• Maximising promotional opportunities for our events via sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and media partners through the use of email campaigns, online/offline marketing, web-based facility
• Managing company website & ensuring web listings for all our conferences are live and up to date.
• Performing post event marketing analysis
• Reporting to Managing Director and keeping good record of client database

All tasks are sales-driven. You will initially be given corporate leads and required to expand the prospect base by performing research and sourcing via phone calls and Internet. The majority of your time will be spent on selling and business development via phone calls and emails, and a significant amount of time will be on lead sourcing via internet searches.

As we are potentially looking at expanding our operation to Asia, we would like to see this person possesses sales management skills.

You should have/be:

• a university degree or higher preferably in international business or marketing
• minimum 2 years sales experiences in international business events
• a good understanding of business-to-business practices
• capable of comprehending new or complicated business subjects and relations fast
• an excellent communicator in business negotiation
• a good command of oral and written business English, other European or Asian languages a plus
• good personal skills
• self-motivated, result-oriented and a fast-learner
• capable of performing results under pressure and minimal supervision but a good team-player
• enjoying working over the phone as well as traveling
• working experience in sales environment in Europe and Asia including India

Ersättning
Fixed monthly salary plus commission
