VikingGenetics is the domestic market leader for cattle breeding in the Nordic countries, co-operatively owned by 25,000 dairy- and beef producers. Our unique combination of breeding for health traits as well as production has led to a position as domestic market leader and with substantial export sales.
We employ 150 people in Denmark, Finland and Sweden with an annual turnover of 35 million euro including 5 million euro in export markets worldwide. We are now gearing up our sales efforts and seek to add a qualified International Reporter to our successful team.

VikingGenetics is looking for an ambitious and passionate reporter to help strengthen our marketing department and reports directly to our Marketing Manager.

Your main tasks:
• Identify, develop and write exciting and passionate stories for home markets as well as export markets.
• Produce articles and make complicated subjects easy to understand for farmers around the world.
• Digest and translate technical information about breeding, genetics and R&D.

In this role, you will be working closely with colleagues from many different parts of the organization, so good networking and relation-building skills are a prerequisite. VikingGenetics is an international company operating across countries, so you should expect about 25% travel days. The position will be placed in Skara, Sweden.

Your qualifications:
We are looking for a person with:
• Great communication and story-telling skills.
• Experience in social media and skills in taking photos.
• High level of written and spoken English. Preferable also Spanish, German or other languages.
• You hold a master's degree in Communication, Journalist or other relevant degree
• We expect you to be curious, energetic, structured with a flexible approach
• Be a team player, who is comfortable working independently
• Be a strong performer, taking initiative, providing high quality results and keeping tight deadlines.
• You will often meet our end customer, the dairy farmer, and knowledge about the dairy industry is preferable.
