Polestar is Volvo Cars performance division and performance brand. We build and develop automotive performance products for the performance minded customer. People who like us belive that driving matters and is an important part of life. We build and develop our cars and performance products through over twenty years of experience of pushing Volvo cars to the limit on race tracks. In short, all our performance products are developed, built and tested to deliver optimal driveability. Polestar operates out of our head office in Gothenburg, with sales in more than 63 markets globally. Together with Oddwork we are seeking two international Regional Account Managers to join the Polestar Performance team in Gothenburg.

About the position International Regional Account Manager at Polestar Performance
As International Regional Account Manager you carry a key role in Polestar Performance’s international development and success. You will work globally in close contact with Polestar Performance’s partners with the intention to implement market strategy, strengthen business relationships and create as well as develop constant growth for Polestars products. To be successful in your role, you need to understand each individual partner’s business conditions adapted to the current market. You will further educate current as well as new Volvo re-sellers in Polestars products. New sales and product education requires consistency in your customer relations as well as comprehension of the products, which will be expected from you as a Regional Account Manager. Polestar Performance has presence on the global market with sales segments divided in a total of 70 countries. You will be responsible for regions in line with your prior experiences, language proficiencies and further merits. Due to the company’s global presence you will travel a lot being responsible for new sales, product education and seminars in a large number of countries. You will carry responsibility for your own budget with ambitious sales goals and report to Polestar’s Sales Director.

Your profile
As a professional you are driven with a high level of energy and passion for sales. You are competitive and motivated by working with focus and commitment towards highly recognized sales goals. Furthermore, you have a high level of business understanding and excellent social skills. You see challenges as opportunities, and you will react to them with a creative and results orientated approach. The role requires you to be highly representative and professional in your approach. In addition, you are eager for results and are a triggered negotiator. In order to be considered you have an academic education and prior sales experience with a good track record. We see it as a merit if you have an interest in cars, racing or/and the general vehicle industry. Prior industry experience is positive but above all we value your enthusiasm and ambition! Knowledge of a third language is strongly appreciated. As a person you thrive towards closing deals and overcoming your goals. In addition you see it as a privilege to work with building strong business relationships over time and constantly develop your own skills.
