International Merchandising and Retail Activation Manager

Think you have what it takes to be a part of the lean and ambitious marketing team to spearhead our retail activation visions? Then this position of International Merchandising and Retail Activation Manager at Koenigsegg might be the role for you.

Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will be exposed to numerous marketing fields which include:
Bring our merchandising strategy to new heights, in the form of an annual retail marketing, instore promotional program, based on product launches aligned with the company's annual plan
Kickstart our global franchise, identify opportunities and manage consignment business building with routine updates
Co-develop great products and packaging that upholds the Koenigsegg brand value on shelves with our internal creative and brand team
Vendor selection and management
Develop fantastic stories around the products to bring the Koenigsegg brand to life that's anchored in our values and tonality while being optimized for various communication platforms
Understand the Koenigsegg brand identity and omnichannel shopper/consumer behavior, collaborate with the marketing team to deliver harmonious brand experience end-to-end
Work closely with external partners to get clear alignment and leverage the local, regional and global resources
Communicate effectively with external partners to ensure high visibility of Koenigsegg products and the effective execution of all retail marketing activities in stores
Lead custom projects such as seasonally specific activities or event-driven programs from planning to the implementation at the store as well as negotiating with external partners


Desired Skills and Experience
To thrive in this role, you like working in a flat hierarchy with a collaborative culture. Your ability to have initiative, work effectively across a variety of responsibilities and play a role amidst a strong team spirit is key. On top of that, we envision that you would have:
Minimum 3-5 years of related experience of retail marketing/trade marketing/shopper marketing in the consumer/branded products
A Bachelor's degree in marketing, retail branding, or similar
3-5 years proven experience from a similar position
Preferably having worked with retail activation with a complementary business network
International experience from studies and/or work
Great interpersonal skills
Have the drive, analytical skills and personal impact to ensure that you always deliver both when working in teams and independently
Microsoft office competence (a given)
Proficiency in English written, verbal and presentation; other languages a plus
