We are now looking for an International Application Expert for Aerospace, with flexible location.
Key performance areas
As an International Application Expert you act as a group resource to all sales units, specifically with support for new and/or strategic projects.
Your main objectives are:
• Identifying winning solutions and growing Seco's business
• Creating value added business through Seco value proposition
• Promoting the IAE (International Application Expert) concept and strengthening Seco's position within the particular industrial segment/solutions
• Ensuring continual attention to service, delivery and client needs, as well as achieving and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
• Delivering and providing expertise internally in market segments
You report to the Strategic Engineering Manager at Seco Tools Group.
This position involves extensive international travel, about 60-100 days /year.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. You have experience from work with technical design and field coordination for securing business opportunities. Further, you have technical and business development skills, and several years of experience from senior technical management positions is advantageous. You have a strong and proven technical background within design, applications, field operations and sales, as well as experience from the aerospace industry, and you already have an established network. Experience from the metal cutting tools industry is required. You are fluent in English, in both writing and speaking. Skills in other languages are advantageous.
You are proactive, self-motivated, customer and result oriented and used to international environments and travel. You have the ability to build relationships on all levels.
