In the role as an Internal Control Coordinator you will be part of a team, with focus to develop the internal controls framework and an effective internal controls assessment process. Help the business develop and update process documentation including flowcharts, narratives and risk and control matrices. Placement is negotiable.
About the position
As Internal Control Coordinator the primary job assignment will be to develop the internal control framework and continuously improve SSAB ABs work with internal control. You will be a part of the group internal control team and your work is implemented in different areas and functions in the SSAB group and its divisions. The work is among others to monitor major changes in business, process and systems and provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders, and ensure timely updating of controls documentation. You assist with progress reporting including status of unresolved control deficiencies from the internal controls assessment process, internal or external audits.
Your qualifications
You'll have a B.Sc/M.Sc. in Business and Economics or similar and at least 5 years of work experience, including 3+ years of experience with internal control. Experience from Big 4 is a merit.
And you have following experience:
• Knowledge of internal control principles (e.g. COSO), financial and operational processes, risks, and IT general controls is required.
• Leading team and development of teams skills
• Knowledge of working in an International/Global Organization
• Language skills (Fluent in English, Swedish or/and Finnish is beneficial)
• Experience with designing and implementing internal control frameworks
You are outgoing, professional and have a high level of integrity. You have a good level of self-awareness and interpersonal skills and are a skilled communicator and presenter with a high cognitive competence. Your work is structured and your analytical capability is high. You are an open and ambitious person who likes variety in the work environment and have a positive and driven approach to challenges
