We are now looking for an Internal Control Director, responsible for the oversight and monitoring of how risks are linked up with appropriate controls in order to monitor risks with substantial business impact. In addition, responsibility includes to secure that Volvo Buses follows applicable laws, regulations and guidelines regarding Internal Control.
As Internal Control Director you will be part of the Volvo Bus Finance team in Gothenburg at our headquarters. You will also be part of Volvo Group Finance community and Internal Control network.
Your main focus will be to:
Responsible for BA Buses' Business Manual and to maintain a regulated risk-based order for delegations of decision authority, in collaboration with line management and AB Volvo Group Internal Control
Manage the ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) assessment process for BA Buses including reporting and to actively follow-up and be involved in the critical areas
Interact with AB Volvo Corporate Audit and audited entities in the audit process to ensure an efficient and transparent process
Lead the deployment of ICDP (Volvo Group Internal Control Development Project) in the legal entities of BA Buses
Co-ordination of Governance, Risk and Control related tasks
Carry out assessments to support top management including Management Controls, fraud, whistle-blow, etc.

Required knowledge and experience
Significant experience from financial management, business control and audit
Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience preferably within the financial area focusing on Corporate Governance, Risk and Control
Master of Business Administration or similar education
Experience and knowledge of VICS - Volvo Internal Control Standards
Merit to have a well-established network in the financial community within the Volvo Group
Fluent in English and preferably another language
