Internal Control Coordinator

The Internal Control Coordinator role is a newly established position in the Group Reporting & Accounting team, reporting to the Accounting Director. The area of responsibility is to ensure good quality of the internal control within the accounting processes and related accounting applications. The work includes process reviews and facilitating process mapping, assisting the organisation to identify key controls, ensure key controls are properly reflected in the self-assessment tool and also testing of key controls. Further, the work includes assisting the organisation with certain issues to identify and assist in implementing effective controls going forward, to work with the account reconciliation process for the group and also together with the organisation proactively work to further strengthen the internal control. As an Internal Control Coordinator you will also participate in different projects. The Internal Control Coordinator will work closely together with the Group Internal Control department and will be part of the global Internal Control network.

Main responsibilities

• Ensure good quality of the internal control within accounting processes
• Process reviews, process mapping, identify key controls and support to the organization
• Ensure that key controls are effective within defined area of responsibility
• Participate in different projects
• Together with the Internal Control network develop and strengthen the internal control within the group

Required qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in Business Administration/Finance
• A minimum of 5 years experience from accounting
• Knowledge in Swedish accounting standards and IFRS
• Experience from internal control/auditing
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
