Our current ICE Manager is leaving on maternity leave in March and we are looking for a substitute while she is away. This position plays a key role in reviewing and improving the internal control framework at The Absolut Company AB.
To be qualified for this role you need a minimum of 5 years of accounting/finance experience, with minimum 3 years in internal audit/control capacity, preferably with a large manufacturing corporation. You bring strong audit and accounting experience and expertise in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of internal controls, operational effectiveness and compliance with laws and regulations. Experience in auditing project management/ERP system is highly desired.
Your key responsibilities would be
• Assist in conducting ongoing risk assessment reviews to produce a flexible Internal Control Plan.
• Perform individual internal control projects as outlined in the Internal Control Plan and any special reviews that arise.
• Identify key control points and weaknesses in the system or function being reviewed, and develop process improvement recommendations, process gaps, improving operations, and reducing cost.
• Document work and findings to support recommendation.
• Report writing and presentation of key findings and recommendation to senior management.
• Review internal policies and procedures to ensure they provide sufficient internal controls, and are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Determine whether proper segregation of duties and dual controls are in place throughout the organization.
• Assist the organization with the implementation of business process improvements
• Champion internal controls and corporate governance concepts throughout the organization.
• Aid in monitoring the progress of management action plans resulting from past audits
• Manage the yearly internal control self-assessment (LSF)
Furthermore you need to have the ability to manage, perform, review multiple projects and assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. It is critical that you are a self-starter and able to work independently with limited supervision. You need to have the ability to communicate with personnel from all levels. It is especially important that you are comfortable in interacting with senior level management. This means that you can take direction as well as give direction and manage expectations upward.
