hela Sverige We are now looking for a senior Internal Auditor to SEB in Stockholm.
SEB is now looking for a senior Internal Auditor with minimum five years of experience, whereof minimum three years in auditing banks, to the Group Internal Audit team based in Stockholm.
About the position
The Internal Audit department is an independent group-wide function comprising of approximately 80 auditors with global presence within the network. The main purpose of our work is to evaluate and give assurance to the Board and the President that governance, risk management and internal control processes are adequate, effective and support the business objectives. Internal Audit reports directly to the Audit and Compliance Committee of the Board.
You will work in a team with mixed discipline skills and experience that are responsible to conduct audits within the Bank together with subject matter experts from the audit teams for the businesses and support functions. You will receive the required Banking product and process training and work with experienced team members to gain valuable on the job experience to help you to develop your business knowledge. Also building on your proven audit skills to develop a further understanding of the Bank 's internal control framework. You can expect to be exposed to most areas of the Bank 's activities and travelling to SEB 's international offices will be required for more than 60% of the working year to support the audit work in those locations.
Your profile
The right candidate will have broad experience from working within an international top 4 external audit firm for five years with a focus on Banking clients for at least three years. You will preferably also have a good sound knowledge of internal control frameworks and operational principles gained through working within the Financial Services industry and a good understanding of the Bank 's processes and controls. You will be fluent in English and at least two eastern European languages.
You enjoy working in teams with mixed skills and backgrounds in project type assignments. You have a strong commercial understanding balanced with a firm knowledge of the Bank 's procedures and controls and you can see the big picture but still keep an eye on the details. You will have excellent communication, pedagogical and interpersonal skills, with a willingness and ability to share your practical experiences with others in the department. You will be a team player with an open mind-set to work as an integral part of a global Audit Department
