Our Engineering department is creating a strong foundation of competence and we are therefore looking for an Interior Safety Systems Engineer 

Description
The Interior Department, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Technical Development Organization. You will be part of a team of Interior Engineers that covers the whole vehicle, and will work close with other engineers in the interior team, system and attribute engineers regarding parts, requirements & interfaces. The work scope will be from early platform and concept studies to support during production starts in the interior safety systems area, but with flexibility to work on other interior areas as needed. A Safety Systems Engineer is involved in all phases of a vehicle project. The role involves: 

• Develop system/component requirements that will meet the overall vehicle requirements.
• Support supplier assessments/reviews.
• Identify root-causes of identified issues during verification/validation and develop countermeasures/solutions as needed.
• Collaborate internally with project leaders, lead engineers and technical specialists and externally with (Tier 1) suppliers and engineering service providers.
• Anchor decisions, development and status with the responsible management

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience within Automotive Business, up to 5 years
• Driver license B
• English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

Terms
National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current Collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
