This position will be focused on designing spaces and interiors and forming strong relationships with clients. You will collaborate positively and professionally in a Design Build environment and deliver a project design from conception to completion that brings the client's ideas to fruition. You will manage the delivery of architectural services on multiple projects from preliminary design through construction administration on our design/build projects including residential and commercial. You will have the ability to supply architectural services on a non-design build delivery method for some owners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Management of interior design projects
• develop initial ideas and acquire key information about potential projects, discuss requirements in detail with clients (the brief) and set project schedules;
• understand clients' needs and the needs of the people using the building to develop design concepts and establish final briefs;
• prepare presentation drawings as required.
• source products, e.g. fittings, furniture, lighting, finishes, decoration and dressing, and provide samples for clients;
• prepare detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models and schemes, often using computer-aided design (CAD) software;
• work in a team with other designers;
• work closely with quantity surveyors to establish costs and work schedules on larger projects, with architects and other design professionals to determine the best use of space, and with manufacturers and contractors;
B2B management experience includes:
• build good working relationships;
• understand the needs of your business customers;
• research the market and related product;
• present the product or service favourably and in a structured professional way face-to-face.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture and interior design;
• 5 years experience as a designer (working experience in Finland and northwest Russia preferred);
• B2B sales management;
• Highly proficient in ArchiCAD and Artlantis;
• Provide excellent presentation skills and proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, Sketch Up and Microsoft Office Suite;
• Strong conceptual and design skills
• Ability to develop design options in collaboration with the design team
• Strong organizational skills, able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and budget time
• Responsible for developing finish, appliance, hardware and plumbing schedules.
• Assist with preparing client presentations.
• Tracking, ordering, and processing purchase orders and maintaining budgets for multiple vendors and clients.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in the Russian and English language.
One of the strongest requirements is language skills. Since the Project is being implemented for both Russian and Finish clients, it 's required for the position to be fluent in Russian, English and Swedish in order to be able to achieve perfect communication within the team.
Office in the center of Stockholm, near T-centralen metro station.
