The Head of Digital Foundation is a strategic and visionary technology leader responsible for building and evolving the core digital infrastructure that powers the organization's digital transformation. This role oversees six critical domains: Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, TSP Connectivity, Big Data, BI & Analytics, and AI Solutions. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, ensure operational excellence, and enable scalable, secure, and intelligent digital capabilities across the enterprise. As Head of Digital Foundation you will report to the Head of IT and join the MT of IT.
Responsibilities and Deliveries:
Define and execute the digital foundation strategy aligned with business goals.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing digital platforms.
Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize digital initiatives and investments.
Manage and mentor leaders across the following domains:
Cloud Infrastructure: Ensure robust, cost-effective, and scalable cloud environments.
DevOps: Drive CI/CD practices, automation, and agile delivery pipelines.
TSP Connectivity: Oversee secure and reliable connectivity across platforms and partners.
Big Data: Architect and manage data lakes, pipelines, and governance frameworks.
BI & Analytics: Deliver actionable insights through advanced reporting and visualization.
AI Solutions: Lead the development and deployment of AI/ML models and intelligent systems.
Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Champion cloud-native, data-driven, and AI-first approaches.
Ensure alignment with cybersecurity, compliance, and data privacy standards.
Establish KPIs and SLAs to monitor performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Optimize costs and resource allocation across digital foundation teams.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications and skills required for the role
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with experience from managing multi-disciplinary technology teams.
Proven track record in cloud transformation, data platforms, and AI/ML initiatives.
Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps tools, and data architectures.
Strong understanding of enterprise connectivity, security, and compliance.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
