Axis is looking for the right person to fill an opening position as an Interaction Designer at the Products & Services department within our Research & Development organization.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
In this role you will take an active part of development projects. As the Interaction Designer you are also expected to take part of the definition of requirements affecting the user experience of the products.
You will plan and lead the design work when larger design activities or projects are needed. You will also develop and maintain the Axis user interface style-guide as well as work as a usability evangelist and help Axis further strengthen the focus on usability.
The position requires some traveling to visit end users.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a driven and structured individual with experience and talent in user interaction design and a deep understanding of design work and processes.
In addition to the above we believe you have:
• at least 5 years work experience.
• a pedagogic approach when explaining concepts and designs
• a good understanding of technical matters
• experience from working in development projects as a designer
• experience from user testing and product evaluation
• knowledge within responsive web design
• proven experience in concept and design development based on user research
• excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
UNIT PRODUCT & SERVICES
Product & Services is a unit within Research & Development responsible of supporting the products on the market. We work close to the sales and support organization worldwide and help them in their day to day struggles.
