The Volvo Group International Graduate Programme gives you a unique opportunity to gain a holistic view of the Volvo Group and to kick-start your career through international assignments, work in different parts of the organization, networking, and professional and personal development. Upon completion of the programme, you will continue to work in the position you were recruited.
The programme runs for 12 months and includes a combination of common and individual graduate activities and day-to-day work at the home company. It consists of three weeks of common development activities at different locations globally, where the participants meet and network. Common activities in the latest programme took place in Gothenburg, Sweden, Ageo, Japan and Greensboro, USA.
The programme also includes learning activities in your home organisation and an international assignment.
During the programme you will participate in training sessions covering fundamental Group concepts, such as diversity, personal development, project management, cross cultural communication etc.
Position
Volvo Pentas target is to be leading in sustainable transport solutions at sea. In line with that ambition we wish to strengthen the team working with electro mobility solutions for the marine commercial and marine leisure segments.
As a part of the product management team you will be contributing in building the product strategies, product plans and product range for the global Volvo Penta organization. The product management functions task is to maximize utilization of AB Volvo developed technologies to exceed customer expectations on total cost of ownership and innovation.
Tasks would include:
Map customer requirements regarding Diesel electric/Hybrid/Electric propulsion for Volvo Penta marine.
Make competitor comparisons
Contribute to building the electro mobility roadmap for Volvo Penta.
Contribute to establishing the Volvo Penta product plan
Make target descriptions and drive pre-studies for start projects.
Overall requirements:
Master of Science or Business Administration
Valid work-permit for applied country if not citizen
Excellent spoken and written English and Swedish
Maximum of two years previous work-experience after graduation
International experience is meriting
