What would you do as an Intellectual Property (IP) Catalyst - Paralegal
You will contribute to the planning, growing, and leveraging of our portfolio of IP and intellectual assets for business-critical needs. As our IP Catalyst - Paralegal, you understand the language of your various points of internal and external contacts and will be in close collaboration with our cross-functional teams, including Legal/IP, Finance, and HR.
You will independently collaborate with the US team:
Support complex IP litigation matters by conducting detailed internal investigations and coordinating with outside counsel.
Under attorney supervision, draft business and legal communications, and prepare and review legal agreements.
Administrate, build and manage an IP portfolio in alignment with business strategy.
Independently, manage inventor remunerations, invoice processing procedures, track budgets, schedule meetings, process documents, and otherwise assist attorneys.
You will be based in Stockholm (Årstadal), Sweden, and report to the VP & Head of Global IP Management.
International travel may be required, and at times, you may need to work or participate in meetings according to US time.
The skills and experience you need
To succeed in this role, we believe that you have worked in a similar position from Industry or IP law firm. You are a self-driven individual who can function both alone and as a member of a global team.
We're seeking someone with:
3 to 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department.
Experience in carrying out IP litigation activities and possess strong knowledge of IP litigation.
Familiarity with databases and tracking budgets and other KPIs.
Fluency in English.
A track record of successfully completing complex projects on schedule.
