On behalf of our client we are seeking to recruit an Intellectual Property Counsel.
Key Responsibilities of the Intellectual Property Counsel
• Intellectual Property enforcement & litigation, including patent analysis and patent infringement clearances.
• Intellectual Property licensing.
• Intellectual Property agreements & transactions, including contract terms and conditions.
• Handling and prosecution of oppositions
Furthermore, the Intellectual Property Counsel will cooperate with inventors, development teams and engineering departments in questions regarding Intellectual Property issues, and will give educational seminars on Intellectual Property matters to management and other internal clients. Additional experience in evaluation and prosecution of Invention Disclosures, including patentability assessment, as well as drafting and prosecution of patent applications, would be a benefit.
Qualifications
The Intellectual Property Counsel should have the following qualifications:
• Degree of Master of Law, or similar legal competence
• University degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or similar technical competence
• Proven knowledge in national and international Intellectual Property laws and procedures
• At least five years experience in handling and prosecution of Intellectual Property matters from similar work in a law firm and/or industry IP department
• Proficiency in Swedish and English languages is required
• Additional proficiency in German or French languages is a benefit.
