Responsibilities
We have an immediate opening for an individual who can fulfil the following key role for the IP Department at Akzo Nobel AB in Göteborg. We are currently looking for an Intellectual Property ("IP") Assistant to Intellectual Property Sweden, which is the Swedish IP department of AkzoNobel Legal, IP & Compliance ("ALIC") located at Lilla Bommen 1, Gothenburg. IP Sweden belongs to Akzo Nobel AB, and currently has six employees. IP
Sweden provides IP services to several business units of AkzoNobel, and handles patent matters and trade secrets globally.

The main tasks and responsibilities are:
• Provide administrative IP services to IP Counsels of IP Sweden, and to interact with IP administrators within LIC internationally
• Handle paralegal IP tasks by communication with IP agents upon request of a responsible IP Counsel
• Handle communications to and from the IP department, including mails, e-mails and facsimile transmissions
• Handle office equipment, including machines and their maintenance and service
• Handle files and archives
• Provide general secretary support and services
Requirements
You have at least a high school degree or equivalent and 5-10 years of relevant work experience ie working as a
Personal Assistant or equivalent.

To be successful in this position we assume that you are an execellent administrator, a good communicator, both in writing and verbally, and of course fluent in Swedish and English. As a person you are self going and can work independently as well as working in a team, responsible and result oriented with a high level of service mindness and committed to quality. You are structured, accurate and efficient. It is important that you have integrity as you will be having contacts within the company both in Sweden and internationally. You have good
knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and knowledge of IT systems is considered a merit.

This is a permanent position on a full time basis, reporting to the Head of Intellectual Property in Sweden.
