IPX customers are companies who offer digital content, mobile voting & directory information - and enterprises offering mobile marketing, communities and banking. IPX Operator Payment & Connection Services (OPCS) offer outsourcing management to mobile network operators. These services manage technical and contractual relations with mobile content and services suppliers or aggregators.
As an Integration Engineer you will be working with integrations of mobile operators to the IPX system. Each integration is carried out as a small project and the Integration Engineer is responsible from start to finish; from pre-study to test of the final solution. The length and the intensity of each project vary, but you are likely to be working in four to five projects at the time. You will also handle the contacts with the mobile operators and design and develop the solutions. Therefore, the position calls for excellent problem solving skills and a high ability to communicate with people from other cultures.
You have an academic degree, probably in IT Engineering or Computer Science and experience from Java, preferably J2EE. You also have knowledge of both Windows and UNIX environment and experience in SQL (Oracle database). Experience in WAP technology and SMS/MMS protocols is an advantage. You have professional experience in system development. Your English as well as your Swedish is very good.
As a person you have a strong drive and a good capability of taking your own initiatives and identify the most important tasks. Your communication and social skills are excellent and you have an ability to work in teams as well as independently. This is a good opportunity to combine social skills with system development.
