About this opportunity
We are a test & integration unit within the Cloud RAN Engineering Unit that seeks to work closely with our customers, passionate about the delivery of virtualized Radio Access Network solutions. We try to accelerate product development with new fresh thinking. We challenge the established flow with new methodologies and are active in open-source communities.
We are now looking for experienced integrators to join the team!

What you will do
Develop and integrate cloud-native baseband products and features
Integrate and verify support for new cloud-native software and hardware functions, such as NG-OLLS, NR Standalone, Carrier aggregation
Be able to deliver scalability, resilience, and performance by taking full advantage of the evolving architecture and services inherent to a Cloud-Native Platform
Strive for delivery of product and test code with all the advantages of a DevOps infrastructure
Develop yourself in Ericsson's core business areas with new open Software and Hardware platforms


You will bring

Ability to find and implement improvements after problems have been solved.
A strong interest in automation, development of an automated test environment
A strong interest to understand end to end systems.
Bachelor 's or Master 's degree level, or equivalent, in a Software related field
Knowledge of 4G, 5G NR, RAN, and 3GPP standards
Ability to develop and deploy the Embedded type of SW, on a COTS HW. (COTS meaning x86, AMD, GPU, or other HW, which can be deployed in a Cloud environment.)
Good understanding of the Linux ecosystem and able to use DPDK and smart Network Interface cards (smart NIC) to optimize the data processing path.
Understand concepts like Docker containers, Kubernetes deployment, Helm charts, and canary deployment.
Knowledge of Cloud-Native core principles, DevOps, and Ecosystem a plus microservices, K8S, Docker, Helm, CI/CD (DevOps)
