We are currently looking for an Integration Engineer for our customer within the automotive industry of large vehicles in Gothenburg.
Work description:
As an Integration Engineer you will work in a small team of highly motivated engineers which work hard to make the best of every situation. We put effort into maintaining a global way of working. The daily work for the Integration Engineer is to: - Integrate test objects (HIL rig, boxtruck or truck)
• Test the functionality to ensure safety and that the quality level is good enough to continue testing on V5/V6 (Functional and framework) level.
• Communicate the first status of the platform.
The work is hands-on and will give you a great opportunity to get to know the expected functionality of the electrical system as a whole. Core Responsibilities for the Integration Engineer
• The Integration group is responsible to integrate SW & HW into our rigs and verification trucks.
• Perform integration test cases
• Request supportive actions needed per project/team to ensure delivery on time, with quality and feature
• Manage detailed activity plans for integration work
• Support the test plan for a loop developed by Program Verification Leaders (PVL).
• Reporting of status and recommend needed actions to PVLs
• Prepare the rigs and trucks for a Software package based on the test plan at Electrical and what preparations that have to be made in order for the verification of a Software package to start
• Identify and order samples needed for rigs and trucks at electrical for each Software package
• Identify rig need for verification and act accordingly to make sure that the rig is operational at the give time
• Develop and provide the tools for automatic verification
• Taking an active part in the planning for integration in pre-study projects
Personal skills needed:
Basic understanding of CAN and LIN communication
Fluent in written and spoken English
Work experience with integration and/or verification and test equipment Software developer background is a good merit
Truck drivers? license is a good merit
Experience from the automotive industry
Highly motivated and loves team work
