Integration and verification engineer, WCDMA RNC 00041861
The WCDMA RNC organization is responsible for developing and supporting Ericsson's Radio Network Controller (RNC) node. The role of the RNC node in the WCDMA network is to manage base stations, radio links, radio resources and control mobility. The majority of the Radio Access Network features are controlled by the RNC.
Job description:
In the Integration unit we are now looking for 1 integration and verification engineer. The primary work tasks include:
• Integrate deliveries from all our subsystems and design centers, and from the CPP platform development organization
• Regression test of the Upgrade Packages both in simulated and real environment. This includes both functional and characteristics testing
• Measure memory and CPU usage, monitor and analyze memory and CPU usage trends
• Write trouble reports and troubleshoot problems together with the SW designers
• Handle out deliveries
Qualification:
• Experience from integration and verification of telecom products, preferably from WCDMA
• Willingness to learn the RNC product well since an intimate knowledge of the product is a must for efficient integration and verification
• Good networking ability since the job will require extensive contacts with our design organizations and other external organizations, both in Sweden in and other countries
• Experience from SW design is a merit
