One of the Nordic region's largest sites where we develop, manufacture, market and sell paints and coatings for indoor and outdoor environments for consumers, customers and industries. The business mainly consists of two companies. Akzo Nobel Industrial Coatings, a leader in the sale and manufacture of paints and coatings for industrial surface treatment for wood products such as windows, doors, floors, and furniture. Some of the customers are IKEA, Montana, Inwido and Tarkett. The other company Akzo Nobel Decorative Coatings develops, manufactures, distributes, and sells paints, varnishes, putty and wood protection products to professional painters and consumers. The portfolio includes the well-known brands Nordsjö, Sadolin and Cuprinol. At the site, 560 proud employees work to meet our customers' needs for high-quality products and services.
Malmo site is one of the largest manufacturing sites in AkzoNobel and is a key player in the European Supply Chain. It is a multi-BU, multi-functional site offering opportunities for exposure to both the Industrial Coatings and Decorative Paints businesses. We are now recruiting a finance professional to act as a Manufacturing Controller for our Malmö site and for the Nordics Supply Chain Controlling.

What you will do
As Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Controller you will act as a Finance Business Partner and Navigator to the Malmö site and to the Nordics Supply Chain (SCH). You will be part of the Site Management Team, contributing to strategic and tactical decision making, be in the first meeting to address business issues and be a trusted partner to the site manager and SCH team. You will work closely with the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Accounting teams, driving collaboration and functional excellence. Important will be the ability to ensure accounting and reporting is in-line with company and regulatory processes.
Your main areas of responsibilities are:
• Develop and deliver relevant financial analysis that enables performance management in ISC.
• Contribute to strategic and tactical decision making.
• Identifying and implementing manufacturing and SCH optimization opportunities.
• Support the ISC Cluster Controller for BUs ICO and Deco as well as UK, Ireland and Nordics in implementing finance projects. Work with counterparts from other sites to identify and implement best practice in the cluster.
• Manage efficient, accurate and timely reporting and planning cycles for the site. This includes product costing, manufacturing & logistics cost control, Operating Working Capital and Capex.
• Ensures accounting/reporting for ISC operations are in line with internal policies. Aligning with Finance Operations teams where needed.
This is a permanent position starting as soon as possible. You will be located at our site in Malmö and report to ISC Cluster BUs ICO and ASC Finance Integrated Supply Chain EMEA, who is based in Barcelona.

Who you are
You will have a passion for controlling with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong team player that is able to communicate effectively with site management and others to build informal networks within the organization. You have a high level of customer orientation and a strong drive for results. You have an ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment without losing track of priorities. You will be a change leader, using your experience to collaborate with others to deliver sustainable and simple solutions.
In order to be successful as ISC Site Controller you need to have a Bachelor/Master's degree in economics, accounting, business administration or equivalent together with at least 6 years of experience in multiple finance positions in an industrial/manufacturing environment. As you will work in an international environment you must be fluent in English, both verbal as well as in writing. You possess excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills with high proficiency in SAP and other business applications.
