hela Sverige Volvo Cars are in the process of establishing a Treasury organization and are looking to fill the Insurance Manager position.
Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities for the Insurance Manager are to manage the placement and day to day service for all Corporate Insurance Programs, including:
Properties - buildings, machinery and equipment, inventory, construction in process, furniture and fixture, computers.
Excess Liability - products liability, auto liability, premises operations and contractual liability.
Marine/Transit - transportation of finished goods (autos), parts and equipment.
All local compulsory insurance coverage which typically include auto liability and workmans compensation.
Surety Bonds.
Additional Responsibilities of the position:
Manage insurance brokerage responsibilities as they assist in the placement of insurance policies.
Coordinate all claims recoveries under the insurance policies.
Review and provide guidance for the transference and assumption of risk under business contracts executed by various business units throughout VCC.
Provide advice and support to local operations in managing costs of uninsured risks.
The management and analysis of Insurance budget forecast and dedicated insurance cost centers.
Provide European Affiliates with central guidance as to insurance coverage, legal requirements and the management and mitigation of retained risk.
Key Competencies:
General degree in insurance or legal/personnel - 3 to 5 years
experience preferred.
Familiarity with basic principles of Insurance and law.
Candidates need to be able to present at all levels the company's operations and work with other specialist functions (HR, OGC, MP&L, MS&S etc).
Ability to work on a range of projects and issues under own initiative is required.
Ability to travel as required.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
