As an Institutional Partnership Manager (IPM) at Plan International Sweden, you are responsible for positioning Plan International for high quality funding opportunities and for achieving new donor agreements for our programs for children's and young people's rights.

In this position, you will have a process-leading responsibility for new funding opportunities and applications with a focus on institutional donors such as Sida, Swedish embassies and the EU, but also foundations and other grant-based donors. The role implies a strategic and structured way of operating and coordinating the entire application process; from monitoring of new program opportunities, to managing donor relations, identifying financing and partnership options, and preparing full applications for donor agreements.

In this role, you are responsible for:

- Strengthening Plan International Sweden's relationship with prioritized donors by monitoring and analysing donor trends and priorities and thus ensuring that Plan International matches our country strategies and focus areas with identified funding opportunities.
- Leading and coordinating application processes to institutional donors and foundations funding, together with other functions within the organization and in close cooperation with our country offices. As an IPM, you are also responsible for producing content to, and writing, full applications.
- Building and managing a pipeline of new opportunities.
- Ensuring internal compliance with donor requirements as well as coordination of reporting processes for specific donors

Academic degree in a relevant field e.g., political science, economy, international relations or equivalent.

Fluency in English with excellent stylistic skills in both writing and speaking. Fluency in Swedish, Spanish and/or French is a merit.

Demonstrated experience from strategic application work that has led to increased funding from institutional donors, with an interest and potential to develop further in this field of work.

Relevant experience from both long-term development cooperation and from humanitarian funding through application work towards Sida, EU INTPA, ECHO, UN, private foundations and/or others is a merit. This experience can have been gained in a private company (for example a consultancy firm) or in an organisation similar to Plan International Sweden.

You can easily adapt to new systems and have excellent knowledge/experience of the Office package. Furthermore, you thrive in a changing environment and want to find new innovative solutions in your work.

The position is a fixed-term employment of 1 year, starting as soon as possible. The employment rate is 100%, which corresponds to 37.5 h/w. The position is located at Plan International Sweden's fine office in Hammarby Sjöstad.
