hela Sverige The Department of Laboratory Medicine, Laboratory for Mesenchymal Stem Cells and Cellular Therapy, Lund Stem Cell Center is looking for a project assistant for the project "Acoustophoretic sorting of peripheral blood stem cell products". This project is part of the Vinnova-funded CellCare Research Environment aiming to develop acoustophoresis-based sorting technology for biomedical applications. The project assistant will work on the isolation of specific white blood cell populations from peripheral blood stem cell apheresis products applying an antibody-based acoustophoresis approach. ?We are looking for a motivated and independent team player with good experience in cell sorting and analysis and documented experience with interdisciplinary projects bridging between engineering and biomedical research.
Publiceringsdatum2013-06-10Dina arbetsuppgifterYou will be working with the preparation of cells for acoustophoretic sorting, performing and optimizing the acoustic sorter together with engineers from the Technical University Lund, performing magnetic control sorting experiments and cell analysis using flow cytometry and standard functional assays for lymphocytes, NK cells and hematopoietic stem cells as well as standard molecular biology techniques such as qPCR.
Önskvärda kvalifikationer
This position requires as masters degree (or equivalent) in biotechnology or comparable education. At minimum, research experience with cell culture, cell sorting and cell analysis is required. Previous experience with acoustophoresis is a strong advantage.
