hela Sverige Wallenius Water has in collaboration with Alfa Laval developed a chemical free system, PureBallast, to treat ballast water on board vessels in order to prevent micro organisms to establish in a new
marine environment. PureBallast is the first and only chemical-free ballast water treatment system in the world to have received approval by UN’s maritime organization, IMO.
We are now looking for a
INSTALLATION SUPPORT MANAGER
for our Ballast Water Treatment application PureBallast
You will be responsible for installation related issues for our Ballast Water Treatment appli-cation, PureBallast. You will be responsible for the technical support in shipboard installations. The
work includes contacts to customers, internal sales staff and product management on a regular basis. You will also be part of the business development related to education and support to ship yards
and ship owners.
You have education in marine engineering and have marine experience. For this role you have at least five years experience in the field of marine engineering and preferable at least five years of
onboard experience. It is preferred that you have experience of marine products and customer dialogues. The work is focused on the installation of the system on different vessels types for
newbuildings and existing vessels.
You will be employed by Wallenius Water, but this position is entirely dedicated for a company called AlfaWall. This company is owned by Wallenius Water and Alfa Laval in a joint venture and is based
in Alfa Lavals facilities in Tumba, Stockholm. The business environment is highly international so you have high skills in English both in speech and in writing. As a person you have an outgoing
personality with high skills in communication and the ability to work on your own initiative.
