This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position reports to Channel Manager.
Your role and responsibilities
Are you passionate about turning potential into performance? Join ABB Robotics and become a key player in driving sales growth through smart lead management and customer engagement. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our sales development efforts-qualifying leads, supporting strategic deals, and helping shape how we connect with customers across the Nordics.
As an Inside Sales Specialist, you'll support front-end sales by converting marketing-generated leads into qualified sales opportunities. You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process, while also contributing to strategic initiatives and customer insights. This role includes both virtual and on-site customer interactions.

The role is based in Västerås, Sweden.
Examples of responsibilities:
Identifying and qualifying incoming leads through customer contact (primarily via phone/video); assessing potential and documenting in Salesforce
Timely processing of leads, including qualification and - depending on the revenue potential - handover to the responsible Field Sales colleagues from the respective segments
Building and maintaining customer relationships, especially for smaller potential customers
Preparing and virtually presenting offers, as well as conducting virtual sales meetings and, where required, on-site customer visits
Collaborating with Marketing and Sales to align lead nurturing activities and targeted campaigns
Monitoring competitor activities and customers' needs to support continuous improvement of our market approach
You will join a motivated and agile team, with strong alignment to Marketing and Field Sales. You will have the opportunity to actively shape how we manage and develop customer leads across all industry segments.

Qualifications
5-7 years' experience in technical B2B sales and/or inside sales, preferably in automation or robotics
Strong communication and digital presentation skills
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
High initiative, motivation, and flexibility in a dynamic environment
Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a Technician degree is welcome, however your experience and personality traits will be highly valued
Willingness to travel
