Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Are you passionate about software development and want to work with the big picture, but at the same time have the ability to dive into the details? Then you are probably the person we are looking for at the Software Simulation Platform.

We develop and maintain our HIL - rig system (Hardware In the Loop) as well as our SIL (Software In the Loop) environment, and are also responsible for the test environment to be updated with new technology to support incoming projects from for example electrification and autonomous vehicles.

In order to test the vehicle's software in the rig, we use one of the world's largest HIL systems that support a large number of truck and bus configurations. The purpose of HIL is to trick the system and its component parts into believing that it is executing in a real vehicle with all its dynamics. This is achieved using real-time execution of environmental models.

Your task

As a Fullstack Developer, you will develop and maintain the test framework. In order for the test environment to be suitable for tests, we have developed tool chains for test automation and results analysis. These rigs are used for software tests on complete vehicle level and on system level, and they are essential for our embedded software developers.

In this role, you will further develop the HIL concept into a modular platform that can support Scania's functional growth, and will gain a broad understanding of Scania's vehicles systems and functions.

Innovation is important to us, and we work on continuous improvements. You will from the start be able to adopt and shape the groups working methods.

Your profile

You are a person with good communication skills who likes to drive things forward together with others. You are a graduate engineer with at least two years professional experience of programming.

You will preferably have experience of Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, MongoDb, SQL server, GitLab, AWS, MaaS or equivalent. Experience of working on automated test systems, preferably from DSpace and or NI, and agile methods are advantages.

Further information

For additional information about the position please contact Peter Samuelsson (Head of SIL Platform),+46855380338

Application

Your application should include a CV, cover letter and copies of any certificates.
