hela Sverige Do you want to create impact and accelerate innovation as part of a customer-oriented organization? This is your chance! We are looking for an entrepreneurial Innovation Manager to join our Innovation Program team.
The Business Area Customers and Solutions (BA C&S) is responsible for sales of electricity, gas and energy services in all of Vattenfall's markets. The BA C&S consists of five Business Units (BUs): Region Nordic, Region Germany/France, Region Netherlands, E-mobility and Business Innovation & Strategy. The BU Business Innovation and Strategy (BI&S) contributes to the C&S business through excellent project management and new ways of working, drives strategy and business innovation across the BA.
Within BI&S, the Innovation Program explores Horizon 3 innovations in order to create new businesses and form significant value pools. Our vision is to create the pathway towards a fossil-free future for all customers of BA C&S by connecting the dots, stretching the boundaries and thinking ahead. We use a vision-driven approach to innovate and keep the customer in the centre of our work.
Responsibilities of our team include:
• create and maintain an innovation infrastructure to enable fast innovation;
• monitoring trends and share our findings on all levels of the organisation;
• build and maintain our internal and external network of partners and stakeholders;
• run a targeted scouting process by using our network and scouting partners;
• fill and manage the innovation funnel;
• create the vision of our BA on selected focus topics;
• validate new business opportunities.
As Innovation Manager within the Innovation Program you will be part of an international team with colleagues in Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands. You will report directly to the Director Innovation Program and be connected to executive management of BA C&S via the innovation board.
Responsibilities
Your role will be developing and running our innovation activities, with a main focus on our Swedish market. Your responsibilities include:
• scouting new business opportunities that contribute to the innovation funnel;
• validating Horizon 3 innovation in a customer-focussed approach;
• preparing material and decision making in the Innovation Board;
• conducting research, develop hypotheses and execute analysis;
• analysing market dynamics, financials, growth opportunities and threats;
• translating data into insights;
• contributing to the quarterly innovation radar and trend updates;
• collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in the Nordic region;
• leading virtual teams in a project context.
Your profile
We are looking for you if you have
• a university degree or equivalent;
• 2 - 5 years of relevant working experience, ideally in a cross-functional and/or international environment;
• Experience in validating new horizon 3 business opportunities and executing horizon 3 innovation;
• an entrepreneurial attitude with a customer-focused mindset;
• robust analytical skill set and a hands-on approach, financial acumen is a plus;
• collaborative team player, who is also an independent thinker;
• comfortable in acting in situations of high uncertainty;
• able to interact effectively with people at different levels of the organization;
• knowledge of the energy industry, interest in sustainability and decarbonization is a plus;
• preferably a wide network outside Vattenfall;
• strong verbal, written and presentation skills;
• fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and written.
Location
The location of this position will be Stockholm. Travelling from time to time is part of the job, if the pandemic situation allows.
