hela Sverige Innovation and Concepts is a function within Operations Excellence and SML. Operations Excellence is responsible to develop the way of working with a global standard across the different regions in the SML organization, drive cross-regional projects, hold the SML project portfolio together. The aim is to make sure that the operative regions work in a harmonized and effective way utilizing innovative solutions and best practices delivering excellent service to the entire Volvo Group Service Market. Operations Excellence will also manage and develop global commercial packaging, as well as being the host function for SML VPS way of working.
As Innovation manager, you will work with innovations with the purpose to serve Volvo Group customers in the Service Market field. You will both identify trends and technologies and bring them into the Service Market organization, lead initiatives yourself or as a member of a small team.
We work together with all Truck brands and Business areas. What we do has a direct impact on the satisfaction of our customers.

Main activities and responsibilities:
Pick up on new ideas and technologies that can help serve Volvo Group customers in the Service Market area
Explore new concepts, develop and lead concept development
Drive cross-functional initiatives around innovation through initial and potentially later phases
Benchmarking of competitors and other relevant companies with respect of technology, business case and possibilities
Actively look for innovative ideas from SML colleagues that can be used to improve our services
Inspire colleagues and support innovative ideas by promoting an innovation culture
