We are now looking for an Innovation leader to strengthen our New Business and Innovation Area.

We believe you have:
• Senior proven experience of exploring, building, scaling, and managing new services, business, revenues models, work models and revolutionary solutions.
• Strong interdependent leadership capabilities and genuine interest for leading and collaborating with cross-competence team members and stakeholders to reach the highest possible impact.
• Passion for people's life at home and in-depth knowledge of how technology can be applied to drive positive change.
• Ability to navigate between design thinking, agile and lean processes, or similar development & innovation methodologies.
• Solid experience managing high level complexity business transformations and projects.
Your responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible to lead and facilitate the creation of specific new services, business models, work models and revolutionary solutions within the innovation area to secure that Ingka and IKEA are in the forefront to meet the future challenges and opportunities. You will identify, lead, develop and empower the cross-competence team to ensure the right partners are onboard and contributing to ensure the creation of successful innovative solutions.
To be concrete this means that you will:
• Lead the development and creation of business cases, in accordance with the innovation process and methodology (IKEA Develop New Solutions approach) to secure approval and progress in line with requirements.
• Responsible to set goals and OKRs for the assigned initiatives together with cross-competence team to ensure shared commitment.
• Work together closely with internal partners to co-create exploration cases and ensure alignments and prioritization.
• Manage and adjust the end-to-end development process for assigned initiatives within scope (timing, budget and result) together with portfolio leaders to update and create necessary documentation for decision bodies.
• Responsible for decision on "stop/pause" and "accelerate", as well as prioritization and for identifying, mitigating, and managing risks related to the initiatives.
Contribute and provide input to external acceleration programs, partnership, or ventures.

As part of Group Strategy, Development and Innovation, New Business and Innovation department is leading the creation, development and innovation of new services, new viable business, new business models, new work models and innovative solutions to secure that Ingka and IKEA are in the forefront to meet the future challenges and opportunities.

Our way of working is built on inclusion and collaboration with internal subject matter experts, IKEA markets and external partners across the entire value chain. We are organized in empowered cross-competence teams with the innovation area at the center and applying self-organization and agile principles. The role is based in Malmö, and you will report to New Business & Innovation Area Manager.
