Polestar is blazing a new trail, dedicating ourselves to the development and refinement of electric vehicle performance and elevated user experience. Your experience and knowledge about automotive tech as well as the mindset and competence for digital transformation will be the foundation in our Connected Experience Innovation Team. This position has its home base at our office in Lindholmen, Gothenburg.
What you'll do
Connected Experience Innovation Team, a part of the Polestar Software and Electronics department, is a team with a mission to disrupt and drive what we mean with the concept software defined vehicle. The team consists of passionate people who continuously look for innovative ways of moving things forward, always striving towards the defined vision. You will work together with your team to define what Polestar means with software defined, describe the roadmap in getting there, and then when necessary also develop tangible artifacts (PoC) to create an understanding within the organization and value to the customers. You will work true cross functional between teams and geography, where you need to be one of the people identifying the path and show where the end goal is.
Who you are
You love to try new approaches and outside the box methods, for example looking cross industries and current research for answers. You have a curious mindset and a holistic view, mapping the path between vision, business and customer. You are a fast learner - and teacher/ mentor - and see an opportunity in tough challenges. You are communicative, collaborative and loyal to the vision and your team, and you want to disrupt the old and venture into the new.
To be successful in this role, we believe you have:
• Relevant technical education and background
• Have strong English skills (Swedish is a bonus)
• You have previous experience and enjoy mentoring fresh talent
Desired skills:
• Polestar teams use a DevSecOps approach and you should be comfortable taking a full responsibility of what you build and design
• The Polestar stack prefers cloud-native and serverless solutions so rich experience with these is a bonus
• Technology specifics:
• Amazon Web Services
• Services that are mainly used include API Gateway, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB
• Infrastructure-as-code (using CDK, Terraform, and/or Serverless Framework)
• Event-driven architectures using services such as EventBridge
• Languages: .NET Core and/or Typescript
