hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Huvudkontor Forum i Stockholm Global Technology Centers (GTC) is looking for an innovation engineer who will work on new features and product concepts in the area of consumable water purification, preparation and dispensing.
In this role you will be asked to develop new modules/systems/product concepts integrating brand new technologies explored and optimized by all GTC departments (Advanced Laboratories, Sensors, Electronics); this job includes system design, CAD drawings, drafting of specification, prototype creation and experimental testing/validation.
You will also keep track of the technical development in this area both in the academic world and in industry. As our target is the market implementation of our development work, you will work closely with Electrolux product lines Food Preservation, Home Comfort, Small Domestic Appliances and Professional.
The position involves working in an international, multi-competence and cross-product line environment. The ideal candidate is innovative in coming up with new ideas that add value to the customer and constantly challenges the status quo, striving for a visible, measurable benefit from every action.
• Be the expert interface concerning technologies and systems of drinking water towards the involved product lines.
• Identify, study and evaluate innovative feature/product opportunities in water/beverage area.
• Development of innovative solutions by designing, building and testing functional prototypes in workshop and lab.
• Design and follow realization of custom test rigs, including control and data collection.
• Interaction with experts in different scientific fields and working in different areas e.g. electronics, chemistry, materials, industrial design, marketing.
• Participate in supplier evaluation and selection.
• To plan, manage and drive execution of development projects.
• Use systematic design methods (FMEA, product requirements documentation, safety audit, project planning).
• Strong knowledge of water treatment technologies, systems and components.
• Solid engineering, applied sciences and laboratory competence.
• Advanced prototype building.
• Understanding of fluid dynamics calculations and simulations.
• Good knowledge of CAD applications, preferably Catia V5.
• Knowledge of project management principles.
• Familiarity with data collecting systems like Easyview.
• Experience with pre-programmed testing and measurement techniques i.e. Labview.
• Proactive in driving technology and product innovation activities.
• Result oriented, structured and self-driven way of working.
• Able and willing to work in a multi-cultural, international matrix organization.
• Open minded with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Quickly adapts to new emerging needs and opportunities.
• Available to travel.
